L’Elisir di lunga Vita è nella Flora Intestinale

The Elixir of Long Life is in the Intestinal Flora

Your whole health depends on the intestinal mucosa:
the elixir of long life is in the intestinal flora!

Did you know that the joy of living depends on Serotonin?
And that 95% originates in the intestine?

OUR HAPPINESS (ALSO) DEPENDS ON THE BELLY.
The production of Serotonin, the "good mood" hormone, also starts from the belly. In fact, the intestinal villi secrete approximately 95% of this neurotransmitter considered the coordinator of all the substances that determine the feeling of happiness, such as Dopamine and Endorphins.
THANKS TO SEROTONIN WE FEEL ACTIVE, CHEERFUL AND VITAL.
On the contrary, when it is deficient, we feel tired, apathetic and depressed.

And if, as has been demonstrated, our state of well-being is connected to intestinal health, so are anxiety and mood disorders.
Serotonin controls irritability and depressive states, but also impulsiveness, aggression and even appetite !
In fact, in collaboration with other hormones, such as Leptin, it calms the appetite, keeps nervous hunger and eating disorders under control.
Serotonin also plays an important role in the sleep-wake cycle: when it is produced it keeps us awake and alert and is necessary to make our muscles move; on the contrary, during sleep its levels are very low, while those of Melatonin rise, which however cannot be synthesized without Serotonin.

It can be deduced that a healthy intestine guarantees us to always have the right balance and to have this authentic well -being fuel always available in the right dose: A HEALTHY BACTERIAL FLORA INCREASE GENERAL WELL-BEING.

But that is not all. There is much to reiterate and, first of all, the fact that THE PSYCHIC AND INTESTINAL SPHERE ARE MUTUALLY CONDITIONED:
in addition to the function of absorbing nutrients from foods and discarding waste, in fact, the intestine, thanks to its neuronal network, interprets our emotional states and perceives the imbalances of the entire organism, including the mental and psychological processes and the emotions that they they generate.

THE GUT THINKS JUST LIKE A SECOND BRAIN.

It is really important to always remember the strong link between the Intestine and the Brain, to remember that stress and bad mood alter brain functions and also influence the intestinal microbiota.
And, as we said initially, this in turn, just like a boomerang, will influence our mood even more negatively with anxiety, irritability and depressive states (in addition to disturbances to the sleep/wake cycle and eating behaviors).

BUT HOW CAN WE GET OUT OF THIS VICIOUS CIRCLE THEN?
In a very simple way, of course... with an eye on nutrition, since it is true that "we are what we eat":
with FIBERS and PROBIOTICS .

THE FIBERS
If probiotics are 'colonists' that we send to our intestine to support the good flora, fibers are its favorite nourishment.
They are polysaccharides of vegetal origin, present in fruit, vegetables, cereals and legumes, which our body cannot digest and which pass intact through the intestine, to then be expelled.
In transit, however, the fibers encounter some probiotic bacteria which make them ferment and, in exchange, produce vitamins (such as Vitamin K) and beneficial fatty acids, strengthen the immune system and hinder the proliferation of harmful bacteria.

This is why our diet should always be rich in fibre: because if we leave the flora without adequate nourishment, the allied bacteria of our intestine will not be able to adequately carry out their function.
Specifically , insoluble fibers are the ones that provide nourishment to the good bacterial flora, but are not appreciated by pathogenic microorganisms, greedy for proteins and animal fats.
Another important role of fibers is to accelerate intestinal activity , promoting regular and deep purification, which also facilitates rapid elimination of dangerous toxins and avoids the negative effects (including carcinogenic) of their stagnation in the colon.
The Soluble Fibers , once in contact with water, form a gelatinous amalgam that binds to the ingested food, traps fats and slides easily through the bowels, forcing the smooth muscles of the intestine to perform beneficial exercises, which maintains the stool soft and accelerates transit.

Each VEGETABLE contains, in different percentages, both soluble and insoluble fibres.

BUT HOW MANY TO TAKE?

30 grams of fiber per day (including vegetables, fruit and cereals) is the ideal dose to nourish and keep the bacterial microflora clean and avoid inflammation.
However, be careful not to overdo it with fibers because, if there are too many, they can irritate the intestinal mucosa and cause swelling and meteorism.
For example: hiring in one day
150g of raspberries (9.7g of fibre)
3 figs (4.5g of fibre)
200g of carrots (6g of fibre)
100g of artichokes (8.6g of fibre)
1 large pear (5.2g of fibre).

WHICH VEGETABLES ARE RICH IN FIBERS
Artichokes, leeks, carrots, mushrooms, fennel, garlic, onions; Legumes such as chickpeas, beans, lentils;
Kiwi, Figs, Plums, Apples, Pears and Raspberries; with many soluble and insoluble fibres.
Whole barley, rice and oats and bran, which provide large quantities of insoluble fibre, should be taken in moderate quantities.

PROBIOTICS
Sometimes it happens that the 'good' bacteria that populate the intestine lose energy and this weakening exposes the entire organism to greater disorders.
But in what situations do bacteria become less active?
It can happen after an intestinal infection, at the end of an antibiotic treatment, in times of stress or when you 'eat badly', exaggerating with fats and sugars, and in a disorderly way.

GOOD BACTERIA INSTEAD OF ANXIOLYTICS.
Intestinal inflammation can also trigger anxiety and depression : for this reason specialists suggest new therapeutic methods that act on the bacterial flora to resolve mood disorders, using PROBIOTICS.

YOUR WHOLE HEALTH DEPENDS ON THE INTESTINAL MUCOSA: THE ELIXIR OF LONG LIFE IS IN THE INTESTINAL FLORA!

When intestinal problems arise or when there is a need to rebalance the bacterial flora, as in post-antibiotic treatments or in all cases of intestinal dysbiosis caused by drug consumption and eating disorders, or in moments of tiredness and stress, it comes in INFLOR rescue, a New Generation of PROBIOTICS (developed by our Research and Development Laboratories) for the active defense of the whole family, also in the Junior version for children.

With INFLOR MODULA: Probiotic Lactic Ferments in Spores (2 Billion Active and Live) with Beta-Glucans, Inulin, Acerola and Vitamins B1, B2, B6.

WHY is it different from other products?:
The products normally on the market contain Ferments which must travel through the entire digestive system before reaching their destination, risking a high percentage of death.

✔ The LACTOBACILLUS SPOROGENES contained in INFLOR, unlike other lactic ferments, has some peculiar characteristics that distinguish it such as:

  • excellent temperature stability,
  • great stability to humidity and the acidic environment (of the stomach)
  • the marked tendency to proliferation, germination and adhesion in the intestinal environment.
  •

✔ BETA-GLUCANS mainly carry out an immuno-modulatory activity thanks to the presence of specific receptors present on the surface of the cells involved in the immune defense process.

✔ INULIN, extracted from the roots of chicory, is a prebiotic fiber that helps select and nourish the beneficial bacterial flora which, together with the complex of GROUP B VITAMINS, promotes the correct balance and functionality of the intestine.
